What is Mainsheet?
Mainsheet magazine is a quarterly magazine that contains exciting and informative feature articles, columns, destinations and association news. It also features an exclusive technical section full of articles about modifications, installations and customizations written by owners and approved by the factory.
The Mainsheet magazine was created in 1983 to encompass all the existing class associations newsletters into one first class publication. It is funded by Catalina Yachts and association dues but produced independently by Eagle Limited. It is supported by advertising and by the content solely supplied by the owners’ associations editors. The magazine contains a section for each class association and its activities.
The purpose of the Mainsheet magazine is to share your boating experiences concerning the Catalina 30 yachts with other owners. Catalina owners are encouraged to write about their experiences, purchases, improvements, new/replacement equipment, sailing, likes, dislikes, cruising, destinations, racing, technical data, owner modifications; just about anything!
