Submissions to the Mainsheet magazine.
The purpose of the Mainsheet magazine is to share your boating experiences concerning the Catalina 30 yachts with other owners. Catalina owners are encouraged to write about their experiences, purchases, improvements, new/replacement equipment, sailing, likes, dislikes, cruising, destinations, racing, technical data, owner modifications; just about anything!
We make it easy to share!
- Just write up your thoughts in a simple WORD doc or email. No more than 1500 words.
- Use plain text only – no formatting or special fonts, etc.
- Do not imbed photos – Attach them to the email. Mainsheet will accept up to five (5) pictures per article.
- Need more space – send as two articles!
The IC30A class association editor will adjust anything that does not meet Mainsheet submission requirements. Your technical articles will also be reviewed by the engineers at Catalina Yachts for accuracy so that no errors get into print. Your input or article can become part of our large Tech Collection Manual too! Or the class forum. Or the class WIKI.
Your article could also be selected as a main feature or an editorial column, so please consider including a few beautiful photos to accompany your text!
Submission deadline dates to the editor are March 1st, June 1st, September 1st and December 1st.
